H1 BURLINGTON
This Burlington home is a full interior build by J94 Design. From the kitchen and built-ins to staircases, bathrooms, and detailed millwork, every space was completed in-house, showcasing our ability to deliver a fully integrated, high-end living environment.
The Kitchen
The kitchen in this Burlington home was designed as a bold yet refined focal point of the main floor. Custom wooden & painted cabinetry extends to the ceiling, maximizing storage while creating a clean architectural presence. The warm wood tones are balanced by crisp white lower cabinetry and a striking waterfall quartz island featuring dramatic veining that carries seamlessly down both sides.
A fluted island detail adds texture and dimension, complemented by sleek black hardware and fixtures that ground the space with a modern edge. Integrated appliances and built-in wall ovens maintain a streamlined look, while carefully placed lighting enhances both functionality and ambiance.
The result is a kitchen that blends warmth, contrast, and precision craftsmanship, delivering both everyday functionality and elevated design.
Bed & Bath
The bedrooms in this Burlington home were designed to feel bright, calm, and architectural. Expansive windows flood each space with natural light, while wide plank flooring and crisp trim details create a seamless, elevated finish throughout. Custom millwork elements and carefully selected materials maintain the home’s modern aesthetic while ensuring warmth and comfort in every room.
The bathrooms continue the same refined approach, combining bold materials with clean lines. Large format tile, sleek black fixtures, and floating vanities create a contemporary yet timeless feel. The primary ensuite features a freestanding soaker tub framed by oversized windows, delivering a spa-like experience with strong architectural presence. Every detail was executed with precision, balancing functionality with high-end design.
Living Areas
The main living area was designed to feel expansive, bright, and architecturally striking. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, creating a seamless connection between indoors and out. The custom fireplace feature wall anchors the room, finished with vertical slat detailing that adds warmth, texture, and a modern focal point for the TV area. Integrated millwork ensures the space feels intentional and refined from every angle.
The entrance and dining area were designed as a grand, open concept statement. Clean lines, wide plank flooring, and soaring ceilings create a sense of scale and sophistication, while the open layout allows each space to flow naturally into the next. Every finish was carefully selected to maintain continuity throughout the home.
The custom staircase further elevates the architectural presence of the interior. Featuring solid oak treads paired with sleek glass railings and black structural accents, it acts as both a functional element and a sculptural centerpiece. The combination of natural wood and minimalist detailing reinforces the home’s modern yet warm aesthetic.
The Basement
The basement was designed as a fully customized, open concept retreat that maximizes space, functionality, and architectural impact. A large custom-built bar anchors the area, featuring rich cabinetry, open shelving, and a clean modern layout that makes it ideal for entertaining. Every detail was crafted in-house to maintain consistency with the home’s overall design language.
A custom entertainment unit with an integrated fireplace adds warmth and a focal point to the main lower-level living space, blending built-in storage with sleek, contemporary finishes. The openness of the layout allows the space to feel expansive and inviting rather than enclosed.
To further elevate the basement experience, we incorporated a walk-in built-in sauna, creating a private wellness feature within the home. A glass-enclosed room adds flexibility to the layout, functioning perfectly as a private gym or executive office while maintaining visual openness through full glass paneling.
Although not shown, the basement also includes a dedicated movie theatre room, completing the space as a fully integrated entertainment and lifestyle level. The result is a lower level that feels as thoughtfully designed and finished as the main floors above.
