H2 BURLINGTON
This Burlington home is a full interior build by J94 Design. From the kitchen and built-ins to staircases, bathrooms, and detailed millwork, every space was completed in-house, showcasing our ability to deliver a fully integrated, high-end living environment.
The Kitchen
This kitchen was designed to feel bright, expansive, and architectural while maintaining warmth and everyday functionality. Floor-to-ceiling custom cabinetry in a soft neutral tone is paired with refined brass hardware, while a large quartz waterfall island anchors the space with generous prep area, integrated storage, and seating. Expansive windows flood the room with natural light, highlighting the wide plank hardwood flooring and clean, modern finishes throughout.
Premium appliances are fully integrated within custom panels for a seamless look, and a vertical slatted feature above the cooktop adds subtle texture and depth. A built-in beverage station with illuminated wine display and secondary prep sink enhances the kitchen’s entertaining capabilities while maintaining design continuity.
A hidden walk-in pantry is discreetly concealed within the cabinetry, opening into a dramatic 14-foot-high storage space. Despite its narrow footprint, the pantry was fully customized to maximize vertical and linear storage, transforming a compact layout into a highly efficient and impressive extension of the kitchen.
Bed & Bath
The bedrooms were designed to feel bright, calm, and refined, with expansive windows that flood each space with natural light. Wide plank hardwood flooring continues throughout, creating warmth and continuity, while custom built-in cabinetry adds both function and architectural presence.
Clean lines and neutral finishes allow each room to feel open, airy, and timeless.
The bathrooms carry a bold yet elegant design language. Floating custom vanities in a matte black finish are paired with vessel sinks and wall-mounted faucets, creating a modern, minimalist aesthetic. Large format tile surrounds the space, adding texture and depth while maintaining a sleek, cohesive look.
Glass-enclosed walk-in showers with matte black fixtures elevate the overall design, blending luxury with practicality. The result is a series of bedrooms and bathrooms that balance comfort, craftsmanship, and contemporary detail, thoughtfully designed to feel both sophisticated and inviting.
Living Areas
The main living areas were designed as a bright, open-concept space that feels expansive and connected. Soaring ceilings and oversized windows flood the home with natural light, while wide plank hardwood flooring runs seamlessly throughout. At the center, a custom fireplace feature wall anchors the room, framed by built-in shelving, warm wood accents, and detailed vertical paneling that adds texture and architectural depth.
The custom staircase with solid oak treads and sleek glass railings acts as a sculptural focal point, enhancing the modern aesthetic while maintaining visual openness. Every trim detail, flooring transition, and millwork element was carefully executed to create a cohesive and refined environment.
At the entry, a fully custom mudroom was designed for both function and impact. Featuring integrated storage, bold black slat detailing, and built-in cabinetry, the space blends practicality with strong design. From the front door to the millwork, trim, and built-ins, every element of these common areas was crafted and installed by our team to deliver a unified, high-end finish throughout the home.
The Basement
The basement was designed as a fully functional extension of the home, maintaining the same level of craftsmanship and detail as the main floors. A custom fireplace feature anchors the space, thoughtfully designed to work around an unexpected structural bump-out while keeping the back open as requested. Flanked by built-in shelving and cabinetry, the feature wall adds both warmth and practical storage.
A glass-enclosed room with custom full-height panels creates a flexible space that can function as a private office or gym without compromising the open layout. A compact custom bar with integrated shelving and sink enhances the entertainment potential, while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic throughout.
The lower level also includes a walk-in sauna finished in warm natural wood, creating a dedicated wellness retreat within the home. Although not shown, a separate movie theatre room completes the basement, transforming the entire level into a multi-use space designed for relaxation, entertainment, and everyday living.
